Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of beauty and grooming services provided by Matryoshka Beauty Salon LLC (“Matryoshka Beauty Salon”, “we”, “us”) at Carlton Downtown Hotel, M Floor, Sheikh Zayed Road, Trade Centre Second, Dubai, UAE. By booking an appointment, walking into the salon, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide professional beauty services including, but not limited to: manicure and pedicure, eyelash extensions, eyebrow shaping and lamination, hair styling and treatments, body massage, waxing, and makeup. Service descriptions, durations, and prices are listed on our website and may change without prior notice. The price quoted at the time of booking is the price you pay.
2. Bookings and appointments
- Bookings are accepted via WhatsApp at +971 58 554 9788, by phone, by Instagram message, or walk-in (subject to availability).
- We confirm each booking by WhatsApp before your appointment. Please save the confirmation message for reference.
- Walk-ins are welcome daily 10:00 — 21:00 subject to chair availability.
- For evening and weekend slots, advance booking is strongly recommended.
3. Cancellations, no-shows and late arrivals
- Cancellation: please give at least 2 hours' notice for short services (≤60 minutes) and 4 hours' notice for longer services. No fee applies if you give timely notice.
- No-show: if you miss an appointment without notice, we may require a 50% deposit for future bookings.
- Late arrival: if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your service may be shortened to respect the next client's appointment, or rescheduled if we cannot complete it within the remaining time. The full price is still charged.
- Salon delays: we work hard to start every appointment on time. If we run more than 15 minutes late through our fault, we will offer a complimentary service add-on or a discount on your next visit.
4. Payment
- Payment is due at the end of the service.
- We accept cash (AED), Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
- Massage packages (5 or 10 sessions) require full prepayment and are non-refundable; sessions are transferable to family members on request.
- Tipping is appreciated but not expected and is at your discretion.
5. Health, safety and disclosures
Your safety is our priority. Please inform our team before your service if you have:
- Allergies to cosmetic products (gel polish, lash adhesive, wax, dyes, fragrances, etc.).
- Skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, recent sunburn or laser treatment).
- Recent surgery, injections, fillers, or chemical peels.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding — some treatments may be modified or postponed.
- Medical conditions, medications, or anything that may affect treatment.
If you are unsure about a product, we offer a free patch test 24 hours before treatment. We reserve the right to refuse or modify any service if we believe it could harm your health.
6. Hygiene and sterilisation
All metal tools are sterilised in an autoclave at 121 °C between clients. Files, buffers, and applicators are single-use and disposed of after each appointment. Surfaces and equipment are disinfected between clients. We operate under Dubai Health Authority hygiene guidelines and Department of Economic Development licensing.
7. Service results and warranty
- We use professional-grade products and trained techniques to deliver durable, high-quality results.
- If a gelish manicure chips or lifts within 5 days of your appointment, we will fix it free of charge — provided the issue is not caused by activity such as picking, prolonged water exposure, or use of harsh chemicals.
- For eyelash extensions, we offer a free touch-up within 48 hours if more than 20% of lashes have fallen out due to application issues.
- Results may vary based on individual hair, skin, and nail characteristics. We discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.
8. Right to refuse service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at our discretion if a client:
- Behaves disrespectfully toward our staff or other clients.
- Has a contagious skin condition or infection that poses a hygiene risk.
- Is under the visible influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Has not paid for previous services or has been verbally abusive.
9. Photography and social media
From time to time we may photograph or film completed work (hands, nails, lashes, hair, etc.) for our website, social media, and marketing materials. Photos that clearly identify you will only be shared with your explicit consent. Please inform us before your service if you do not wish to be photographed.
10. Personal belongings
Please keep your valuables with you during your appointment. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal items left unattended in the salon.
11. Children
For safety and to maintain a relaxing environment, children under 12 may only be in the salon when accompanied by an adult who is not receiving a service. Beauty services for minors require the presence of a parent or legal guardian.
12. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers issued by Matryoshka Beauty Salon are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash. Lost vouchers cannot be replaced.
13. Promotions and discounts
Promotions, package deals, and discount codes may have specific terms, expiry dates, and conditions. They cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw any promotion at any time.
14. Limitation of liability
Beauty services involve inherent risks, including allergic reactions, skin irritation, or unexpected outcomes. By using our services you acknowledge these risks. To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, our liability for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or injury is limited to a refund of the price paid for the relevant service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g. gross negligence or wilful misconduct).
15. Complaints and resolution
If you are not satisfied with a service, please tell us immediately — preferably before leaving the salon. We will do our best to correct the issue on the spot. For unresolved complaints, contact the manager via WhatsApp at +971 58 554 9788 within 7 days of your visit.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, specifically, the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via our website and, where relevant, by WhatsApp.
